Privacy Policy

This privacy policy will explain how Void of Course Ltd uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website marianne.yoga.

How do we collect and store your data?

NETLIFY
Our website marianne.yoga is hosted and served with the service “Netlify”. Netlify holds access logs including your IP address and stores them for less than 30 days. You can read their privacy policy here.

STRIPE
Payments for classes, consultations and gifts are taken by “Stripe” on Stripe's own checkout pages. Stripe stores the details you give at checkout: your name, email address, payment details, any answers to the questions on the checkout page (for example, birth details for a consultation) and, if you choose postage, your address. We do not see or store your card details. You can read their privacy policy here.

BREVO
Our mailing list sign-up form and the login emails for your account are provided by “Brevo”. If you join the mailing list, Brevo stores your email address and any details you give in the form. If you ask for a login link, your email address is sent to Brevo to deliver it. You can read their privacy policy here.

MAPBOX
On 1 page of our website marianne.yoga, we include an interactive map which is owned by a service called “Mapbox” (Mapbox Inc.). This feature is only included on the page “marianne.yoga/astrology/whats-my-rising-sign”. In visiting this page, your data may be transmitted to Mapbox in the United States. Your browser establishes a direct connection to the Mapbox servers. Mapbox will send the map content directly to your browser and integrate it into our website marianne.yoga. Therefore, we have no control over the amount of data collected by Mapbox in this way. You can read about Mapbox's privacy policies here. If you do not want Mapbox to collect, process or use data about you through our website marianne.yoga, you can disable JavaScript in your browser settings. However, you will not be able to use the map feature in this case.

Your account

The account page at “marianne.yoga/account” shows the purchases and bookings you have made with us in the last 6 months. To see them, you enter your email address and we email you a login link. A login link is only sent if that email address has made a purchase with us; it works once, for 15 minutes. Your purchases are read from Stripe each time you view the page: we do not keep a separate copy of them. To limit how often login links can be requested, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of the email address and the time a link was last sent, which cannot be turned back into your email address.

Straight after paying, you are returned to the account page, which shows that one purchase. It can only be shown for 24 hours after paying.

How will we use your data?

Void of Course Ltd and our website marianne.yoga use your data only to provide what you have booked or bought from us, to show you your purchases, to send you login links you ask for, and, if you join our mailing list, to send you updates. We will not sell or share your data with other companies, other than the services named above that we use to run the website.

For details of how our 3rd party services use your data, see the privacy statements linked above for NETLIFY, STRIPE, BREVO & MAPBOX.

How we use cookies

Most pages of our website marianne.yoga do not use any cookies or store anything in your browser. The exceptions are stated here:

1. When you log in to your account at “marianne.yoga/account” using a login link, we save a login token in your browser (in its “local storage”, which works like a cookie) so that you stay logged in on that device for up to 30 days. It is strictly necessary for logging in, contains only your email address and its expiry date, and is used only to show you your purchases. You can delete it at any time with the “Log out” button, or with the link in the notice at the bottom of the account page.

2. On our Find Your Rising Sign feature, which is found at “marianne.yoga/astrology/whats-my-rising-sign”, we use a 3rd party service called “Mapbox” as part of the essential functionality of the page. We attempt to the best of our ability to prevent that 3rd party software from saving cookies on your computer, but there is a chance that some will be set and this is beyond our control. You have the option to prevent Mapbox cookies by disabling third party cookies in your browser settings. For more information you can read the cookie policy of Mapbox Inc. (Mapbox) here.
